Designed for gaming and home entertainment applications, the ScreenPlay SP1081HD and SP2080HD projectors offer bright images, responsive performance, easy setup, and flexible connectivity.
Amsterdam, NL – Integrated Systems Europe, Stand 2-B60 - February 5-8, 2019 —InFocus Corporation (www.infocus.com), the industry-leading innovator in digital projection, re-introduces the ScreenPlay projector line for the residential market with two models designed to provide sharp, bright images from a variety of sources for gaming, sports, movies, and TV.
The SP2080HD provides bright, 4,000-lumen images in full 1920x1080 HD resolution, and a high 32,000:1 contrast ratio for sharpness and depth. The SP1081HD, also in full 1080p resolution, has 3,800 lumens and 28,500:1 contrast. Users can add either projector to almost any space; InFocus BrilliantColor technology enables the SP1081HD and SP2080HD to project vivid and accurate colors on many surfaces and in virtually any light. Powered by the latest DLP technology, the SP1081HD and SP2080HD can accept content from a variety of sources and can display stunning 3D content from PCs, Blu-rays, game consoles, and more with 144Hz DLP Link 3D glasses (sold separately).
With low latency for ultra-fast response times, the SP1081HD and SP2080HD are optimized for entertainment, such as fast-paced gaming, when milliseconds count. For easy setup, users can select preset picture modes on the SP1081HD and SP2080HD projectors, including “Bright,” “Movie,” and “3D,” or can customize their own from settings such as “Hue,” “Saturation,” “Gains,” as well as primary and secondary colors using RGBCMY Professional Color Adjustment. InFocus designed the projectors to protect eyes during frequent TV and gaming or movie nights, with color temperatures that can be adjusted to warm at night to support natural circadian rhythm and sleep cycles.
In addition to an HDMI 1.4 port and multiple ways to connect devices, the SP2080HD features a TechStation bay for streamlined flexibility for audio and video playback: Users can plug in their streaming devices, such as a Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV Stick, or Roku Streaming Stick, and close the lid to create a customized entertainment solution that keeps devices organized and out-of-sight.
“With features like our new TechStation bay, BrilliantColor technology, expert image adjustment, and multiple picture modes, we’re proud that these ScreenPlay by InFocus models bring our legacy of innovation and superior performance back to the home entertainment space,” said InFocus Product Manager Dave Duncan. “With bright images in any light, multiple ways to connect and stream, and advanced 3D support, these models are designed for the best gaming or viewing experience possible.”

Jupiter by InFocus Introduces Flagship Catalyst XL Display Wall Processor
Jupiter by InFocus Introduces Flagship Catalyst XL Display Wall Processor
February 04, 2019
Catalyst XL combines 4K input and 8K capture, ultra-fast bandwidth, and high memory capacity for demanding video wall installations.
Amsterdam, NL – Integrated Systems Europe, Stand 2-B60 - February 4, 2019 —Jupiter by InFocus, a division of leading provider of display wall solutions for collaboration and learning, InFocus Corporation (www.infocus.com), debuts its new flagship Catalyst XL display wall processor, featuring ultra-fast bandwidth and data transfer, high memory capacity, 4K and 8K capture board technology, and real-time document and video annotation capability.
Catalyst XL can support enterprise as well as mission-critical, 24/7 operations that require video quality and uptime, both for single video wall installations and those on a corporate network with multiple connected video walls. The processor can power up to 48 displays and a maximum of 156 4K IP and direct inputs, with a density of processing power that allows for fewer input/output boards to reduce an installation’s hardware footprint. Catalyst XL is available with a four-channel HDMI input board capable of ingesting resolutions up to 4K per input, and which can be synchronized for 8K capture.
Using point-to-point technology, Catalyst XL offers the fastest available bandwidth at bidirectional speeds of 15.8 GB/s PCIe Gen 3 x16 that enables direct data sending without needing to go through system memory. Next-generation DirectGMA technology enables the processor to maintain frame synchronization while handling high-speed data transfer from the capture board to one or more GPU boards, and it can support full-duplex communication between any board for full-frame rate transmission from the source to display through the PCIe bus. For easy deployment, Catalyst XL includes a new graphics driver, support for multiple languages, and backwards compatibility with the Jupiter by InFocus’s ControlPoint software.
Catalyst XL offers users security and ease-of-use with a specialized version of Windows 10 LTSB and Jupiter by InFocus’s award-winning collaborative visualization software, Canvas, in its newest 5.6 version. With Canvas, users on a mobile device or conference room display can view video, data, and applications from a control room, as well as annotate directly on live video streams, chat by text or voice, and collaborate on documents in real-time. Catalyst XL can be used for a single video wall using Canvas or it can be connected to a Canvas Enterprise ecosystem, where multiple video walls are managed by one or more Canvas servers.
“Equipping Catalyst XL with the fastest bandwidth available, along with more 4K direct inputs and streaming sources, was critical in debuting our newest flagship display wall processor,” said Devon Wright, Jupiter by InFocus product manager. “We’ve tapped into processing, memory, and resolution advancements to give users a highly-capable solution designed for the enterprise and mission-critical applications the Jupiter brand is known for.”
Catalyst XL will debut at Integrated Systems Europe at InFocus stand #2-B60 from February 5 to 8, 2019, along with the full Jupiter by InFocus line including PixelNet 2.0 and the newly-updated Canvas 5.6.

Nine new projectors bring wireless sharing, exceptional image quality, and long lamp life for efficient and engaging collaboration in classrooms and meeting spaces.
Portland, Ore. – November 6, 2018 — InFocus Corporation (www.infocus.com), the industry leading innovator in digital projection, introduces three new projector lines designed to make any meeting space or classroom BYOD-capable. Nine new projector models in the IN130, IN130ST, and IN2130 Series feature vibrant colors, ultra-long lamp life, secure and easy integration with popular devices, and a new whisper-quiet fan design.
The new InFocus projectors are a customizable presentation solution, with the new TechStation internal HDMI 1.4 bay that lets users simply add a Google Chromecast, Intel Computer Stick, InFocus SimpleShare, Asus Chromebit, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Android TV Stick, or any other HDMI-compatible device into the bay, keeping cables and dongles neatly tucked away. Educators and presenters can then use the features of the connected HDMI device to start presenting, stream audio or video, cast content, etc. using compatible devices such as laptops, tablets, or smartphones.
Meetings, lessons, and presentations are enhanced by the impressive image quality of the IN130, IN130ST, and IN2130 projectors, paired with new whisper-quiet fans using InFocus’s Smooth Flow fan design. The IN130 and IN130ST Series were designed to suit classrooms, with a bright picture, flexible and fast integration with devices for casting, and long lamp life at a value price. The IN130 Series replaces the IN120x Series with three models, IN134, IN136, IN138HD. InFocus Launches New Mondopad Line and Proves One-Size Does Not Fit All
InFocus Launches New Mondopad Line and Proves One-Size Does Not Fit All
October 16, 2018
Featuring new user experiences and updated industrial design, 12 new Mondopad models range from 55-inch to 86-inch and provide flexible and collaborative touchscreen solutions specifically designed to meet the unique needs of any team or space.
Portland, Ore. – October 16, 2018 — InFocus Corporation (www.infocus.com), a leading provider of presentation solutions for collaboration and learning, announces a new line of Mondopad collaborative display solutions. Comprising 12 models designed around the specific needs and budgets of various office environments and meeting spaces, Mondopad Core, Mondopad Launch, and Mondopad Ultra are available in 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch and 86-inch models.
With something for every space, including lecture halls, boardrooms, or small huddle spaces, the new Mondopad line includes a suite of collaboration features to make meetings and lessons more productive. Each tier of the new line has features specific to various use cases and environments, but all 12 models are based on an easy-to-use touchscreen collaborative system with digital whiteboard, wireless casting for document, photo and video viewing and annotation, and the ability to browse the web.
“We’ve recognized that until now InFocus, as well as others in the collaboration display market, have mainly designed interactive displays and video conferencing solutions to meet the needs of enterprise-level executives with IT departments who set up and configure feature-rich systems. We realized that a segment of the market was not having its needs met by collaboration tech. With our new line-up, we’ve developed products that address all segments of the market,” said Loren Shaw, InFocus VP of Marketing. “One size does not fit all. Now our customers can choose a Mondopad model with the features they want and not worry about the ones they don’t need.”
“Collaboration That Fits” Contest
New segments of the market can explore the new Mondopad line and enter to win a Mondopad Launch through the “Collaboration That Fits” contest. Small business owners, government agencies, university professors and tech managers can enter by submitting a written nomination telling InFocus how their organization would use a flexible collaborative touchscreen solution to work together more effectively. The contest is open until December 3. For more details and to enter, visit the contest page.
Mondopad Core
Offering essential tools for collaboration without cluttering the user interface with unnecessary apps, Mondopad Core is the affordable baseline of the new Mondopad, offering a solution ideal for small businesses, government agencies, and huddle rooms. Users can utilize the 4K business-grade touchscreen with embedded Android and a suite of tools for casting, whiteboarding, viewing documents, and browsing the web.
Mondopad Core also lets users view and present documents, photos, and videos with ease, and annotate and save changes in real time. During brainstorming sessions, users can launch the interactive whiteboard and write or draw on a giant multi-screen canvas. Users can also paste backgrounds and images onto the whiteboard and annotate over the top with a complete collection of digital pens, shapes, lines, and colors. Then, send saved documents as common or secured files by email, over the office network, or save files to a USB or cloud-based service such as DropBox.
Mondopad Core can be upgraded to include a PC platform with a seventh generation Intel i7 PC to build a more powerful touchscreen solution with Windows 10 Pro.
With or without the optional PC, Mondopad Core is ideal for use in custom applications as well. Customers looking for a specialized touch solution can add their custom software solution to Mondopad Core and bring the power of touch into any space.
Mondopad Launch
Designed for organizations like universities and government agencies that need easy access to shared software and tools, such as video conferencing services, presentation apps and project management software, Mondopad Launch is a configurable solution for group workspaces. Building upon the Mondopad Core model, Mondopad Launch adds a seventh generation Intel i5-based Windows 10 Pro PC and additional customization options. It provides the fastest path to productive meetings in offices, classrooms or huddle spaces. A lock-down feature allows individual users to easily login and quickly gain access to only the apps they care about, and a customizable home screen with large, convenient buttons means meetings start quickly and the touchscreen can be easily reset before the next meeting.
A video conferencing-ready platform, Mondopad Launch includes a 4K camera for collaboration and effective face-to-face meetings no matter where meeting attendees are located. Mondopad Launch also offers a Standard Edition of Quicklaunch (with the ability to upgrade to the Professional Edition). With Quicklaunch, scheduled video calls are then easily accessible via a large button within the calendar appointment. Montage, from DisplayNote, is available on the Mondopad Launch and offers powerful casting so up to six users can easily cast and share content wirelessly from their laptops or mobile devices and annotate from their personal device on the casted image for all to see.
Mondopad Ultra
A seamlessly-integrated, premium, high-performance collaboration system that is secure and yet easy to use right out of the box, Mondopad Ultra takes collaboration to the next level. Built on a seventh generation Intel i7-based Windows 10 Pro PC, Mondopad Ultra features an integrated suite of collaboration apps including video conferencing, whiteboarding, casting, a web browser, and full Microsoft Office suite for a truly efficient face-to-face collaboration system.
Mondopad Ultra offers a complete video conferencing platform including a 4K camera, microphone, and wireless keyboard with integrated touchpad, plus ConX Cloud video conferencing subscription. When signed onto ConX Cloud or any other video conferencing solution, users in various locations can also launch ConX Whiteboard to interact and share ideas on a Mondopad Ultra whiteboard simultaneously. Users can securely connect and share content from any computer or mobile device including PCs, Macs, tablets, or smartphones, and remotely control the Mondopad screen from that device.
One of the main benefits to the Mondopad Ultra is the new Mondopad Ultra v3.0 software and mobile app, allowing users to start meetings and get to work faster. Simply login to your Office 365 account to instantly access and share information from email and attachments, calendar, documents stored on OneDrive, or SharePoint. The new v3.0 software is also compatible with all previous generations of Mondopad Ultra.
All 12 new Mondopad models are available now in the US, as well as a variety of accessories such as the SimpleShare™ Presentation System, Thunder Speakerphone, and mounting solutions for wall, floor and mobile applications. Contact an authorized InFocus reseller for pricing.
